Alpharetta Christian Academy Focuses on a safe, Christ-centered educational experience

We believe that every child is capable of achieving great things. Our school is a place where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is nurtured, and learning is an exciting adventure. With dedicated teachers, a supportive community, and a safe and inclusive environment, we strive to inspire a love of learning in every student.

Spanish Classes

Students learn Spanish through fun, interactive activities like songs, games, and Bible verse memorization. We build basic vocabulary and conversation skills while celebrating faith and culture. A unique part of our class is the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15) and our end-of-year Spanish Show, where students showcase what they’ve learned through songs, dances, pantomimes, and more!

  • Our Student/Teacher Ratio is 12:1
  • We still teach traditional subjects such as science, math and more...

Music Programs

In elementary music class, children begin learning about music and its components in more depth. They learn to recognize elements of music aurally and visually as they refine and develop their listening skills. Children continue honing their ability to sing in tune and to distinguish rhythms. In elementary school, students also begin learning how to read music. They learn more complex dances and games, and they have opportunities to play more varied and complex musical instruments. Elementary students also have several performance opportunities each year, including the Christmas program, the Fine Arts Showcase (talent show), and extracurricular opportunities such as chorus. *In elementary, we use the TV in several ways- singalong and playalong videos, listening activities, and demonstrations of new songs. We use the stage to practice for performances.

Community

Students are taught to value, respect, and serve others on a daily basis. To help with this process, each class participates in at least one age-appropriate service project, whether it’s helping foster children or senior citizens. Classes are involved in community events such as holiday celebrations, like Veterans Day.

We still honor traditional subjects

While we believe in the importance of technology, we still teach traditional subjects of science, social studies, math, language arts and bible. In first grade we begin cursive, which still has an important value in the learning process. Phonics is taught to provide skills to be independent readers. Enrichment classes such as art, music, PE, Spanish, computer, media, character development and recess, allow for fun and balance in the school day.

Special events make school fun

Students enjoy special events such as Christmas musicals, talent shows, grandparents day, art shows, and other opportunities for performance and fun. All students have the opportunity to shine.
